Instead of the usual interview, this week Stephen Ibaraki, I.S.P., spoke
with Richard Longworth, a Chief Information Officer with over 25 years senior
world-ranking IT experience.
Richard is a global leading Systems Analyst and Designer who has consulted in
the aerospace industry migrating enterprise legacy database systems to SQL
and is the CIO for the leading .NET company. Richard has presented papers at
the BCCEC and DPMA conferences on advanced database design and data
structures. Richard led the only development team to ever achieve the
prestigious "Innovators of Tomorrow" Award. He is regularly
consulted by senior industry practitioners for singular advice on designing
and troubleshooting database solutions.
Richard provides a means on how to translate DFDs into a UML view, and adopt
a methodology of transferring process models into object-oriented views.
