In this seminar, guest expert Stephen Ibaraki examines various
strategies related to Windows 2000 installation and configuration. He begins
by discussing hardware installation, emphasizing the importance of testing.
He then outlines Remote Installation Services (RIS), both from the
administrator side and the client side. Next, he details configuration issues
such as basic storage, dynamic storage, and the three main networking
protocols: TCP/IP, NetBEUI, and NWLink. Stephen concludes with a discussion
of the distributed file system and how this protocol can benefit

Stephen Ibaraki, ISP, is world-renowned with a career

selected for Career Achievement by CIPS BC and he has been awarded
commendations for excellence from hundreds of organizations since 1973. From
more than five million professionals, he was profiled globally by Microsoft
for his leading role in the IT industry in addition to serving as a
certification exam author. His wide-ranging IT expertise
has earned him "Excellence in Teaching" awards from several
colleges and universities, with a perfect "five-out-of-five"
rating. His articles are published in major publications including Computing
Canada, Computing World, CIPS "News from National," HiTech Career
Journal, Xephon, Financial Post, and National Post, among others. Stephen's global expertise is
evident in numerous international IT briefings, his last held in London, and
he reigns as the seminar leader for Worldwide Internet Broadcasts. Stephen's
